Speed Nesting

NOTE: This is an optional advanced module and needs to be licensed separately.

Consider a manufacturing industry scenario where there are a large number of parts (typically in thousands) which typically get nested in batches. In this scenario, the parts remain the same for a given interval.

The interval could be a few weeks or a few months/years. In such cases, total nesting time could be saved if the part information is stored and used subsequently. The speed nesting module of NestLib® allows you to store this information when using the part for the first time and then reuse this information when using this part in subsequent job orders under identical conditions.

The resulting time saved in subsequent job orders due to this storage could be of the order of 30-50% of the actual time.

To give maximum freedom to the user, the option to store the information about a part is given for each and every part.
